18,000 and counting

We've reached 18,000 page views this week, and its been an amazing 5 months: meeting new people, talking with local businesses, and becoming Twitter, Facebook and blogging experts has really proven to us the importance of social media. Social media has proven to be a very important evolution of communication; it connects and allows us to bring together people who would never have met in this new world, and allows them to work together for a common goal. It allows for promotion of business, the individual to be recognized and for everyone to reconnect with people they know, have missed, or have not yet met. The total success of our project has relied on social media and all the people who use it.

Thank you, everybody who has made our project this successful and allowing us to share it with you; I had no idea that we would have had this many hits and this much of a positive response. Thank you for your support and thank you for you, from the bottom of our hearts. We've got five months to go, and lots left to do...we look forward to completing our project with all of you.
