Just for fun: A little laugh with Save the Date cards

I was feeling the tension this weekend with wedding stuff, while battling a cold and trying to also handmake about 20 gifts. I took a mental break and decided to try out some designs for 'save the date' cards for the wedding date. Vistaprint is a site my mom uses for her business, and they often have sweet deals on all sorts of things that bring them within our $10.00 price range. Anyway, I got totally distracted as I looked through the tons of postcard designs, and ended up making a few to tease my parents with. We went over last night and I said we'd narrowed our choices down to these five:

My mom reacted beautifully; she was very cautious, and gave very gentle feedback about not being so sure about the designs. My dad shouldn't have surprised me, but somehow he still did: he LOVED the baboon one and begged us to use it. Opinions welcome. (And yes, we may do something a bit more serious, but nothing traditional!)

This was fun and reminded me to laugh. For better or worse, of course, I may now have baboons on my save-the-dates.
