We've got two interviews to share...two indie businesses offered us services, which we accepted, a little later in the game. No problem; here's their interviews!

What are you contributing to the project?: The Brides necklace, and a piece for the matron of honor. [Trading for graphic design work by Jordan...who will happily trade design work forever, for more necklaces!]
What made you want to help out with the project? The thrifty nature of it and the couple..... you guys are so sweet.
What does your business do? : I create recycled textile fashions and artwork.
How long have you been in business? 6 years.

What is your favourite thing about weddings? : The fashion and the dancing.

What do you hate about weddings? : The cost and the weird relatives.
What’s was your most unusual gig/project/product you’ve created? :  My wedding.... vintage prom /under the stars themed wedding.... everyone wore past prom/brides maid/vintage  and we dance all night to a funk band . I wore a dress of my my own design; poka dots. We had props from the Shaw festival (like the  cake )........ what a party.

How did your business get started? : I just wanted to be an artist so I went for it and never looked back..... also ECLECTION.ca was a great inspiration.

What warms your heart? : Sorting vintage buttons, technologies ( typewriters, sewing machines, and cameras) and any kind of textiles.  Creating in any form. And the love of my Christian Ingelivics (My husband)

What is your business’s name? : Bytown Productions

How did you hear about P:P? : We heard of Project Priceless on CTV Ottawa (news)

What are you contributing to the project?:  We are contributing filming of the wedding and editing.

What made you want to help out with the project? : What made us want to help with the project was the amount of followers we could promote our services to and the possibility of getting work from other brides who will see our work after the wedding day.

What does your business do? : Bytown Productions is a video production company based in Ottawa. We also do video editing, video conversion, video/photo slideshows and photo scanning.

How long have you been in business? : We have only been in business since September of 2010.

What is your favorite thing about weddings? : Our favorite thing about weddings is seeing happy brides on their wedding day and how nervous grooms get on the big day. It is great to be able to participate in such a joyful event and to know that you are contributing to their memories of it.   

What do you hate about weddings? :  What we hate about weddings is if the weather does not cooperate with us.

What’s was your most unusual gig/project/product you’ve created? : Because we are fairly new in the business we have not run into anything too bizarre yet.

How did your business get started? : Our business got started in that we were both having trouble finding job in our fields after graduation and had always wanted to go into the business. We have known each other most of our live so this made it easier for us to go into business.     

What warms your heart? : Is seeing how happy the customers are when they review or see their project for the first time.
